The Oatmeal of Alford

Ingredients

1 teacup oatmeal (medium, rough or pinhead).
1½ teacups double cream.
½ cup drained heather honey.
Whisky (malt preferably).

Method

Beat cream to a floppy consistency.
Stir in oatmeal.
Add honey and just before serving, add whisky according to taste.
Mix thoroughly and serve in shallow glasses.
