The Oatmeal of Alford

Ice-cream

Ingredients

1 small carton of double cream.
1 small carton of whipping cream.
3 tablespoons of rough oatmeal.
2 tablespoons of caster sugar.
1 tablespoon of whisky.

Method

Whisk double cream and whipping cream with caster sugar until fairly thick.
Fold in oatmeal and whisky.
Freeze in small individual glasses.
For a fruity ice-cream fold in a few chopped raspberries or strawberries.
